Hedge funds and banks can be very different in terms of how they approach a large strategic IT project. It is imperative to the success of a project to be able to understand the differing structures and needs of a client, whether they be a pension fund, hedge fund or large international bank.  Iridium has provided services to all institution types and has created a unique offer that resulted in a very different balance between management, design, execution and support. In return, Iridium has become the major provider of implementation and support services for hedge funds utilizing the Murex application.

Financial institutions are generally in need of consulting services whether for short term assignments or where there is an internal knowledge gap. Some needs however cannot (or should not) be fulfilled by traditional consulting. In response to this, Iridium has developed 2 services that are provided remotely and through a well defined service level agreement (SLA). By combining traditional consulting and SLA's, Iridium is capable of handling complex projects and operational responsibilities with intelligence.

Knowing a subject is a common statement, providing definition to such a statement that relates to a complex trading environment is not as straight forward. Iridium has been able to achieve this for the fifth consecutive year by its continued focus on providing Murex services. As Murex continues to enhance its leading product, Iridium continually strengthens its service offering to provide a solid bridge between the software vendor and the end-users. As well as providing the highest level of implementation and support services, Iridium offers its clients a hugely important intangible benefit - peace of mind.

In less than 5 years, Iridium has provided Murex related services to 17 different financial institutions. Our expertise covers the most widely used Murex 2.11 versions as well as the most advanced Murex 3.1 versions. We have been selected by multiple clients to implement the software from scratch, add functionalities to an existing environment or upgrade from one version to another. Thanks to the special trust relationship that our clients grant us, Iridium has become the leader in Murex implementations in North America.
