Iridium provided infrastructure support to a large account since 2004. While the client had core expertise on MS-Windows and MS-SQL, they needed a partner to deploy and support Murex™ on AIX/Sybase.

Iridium assigned 2 full time equivalent (FTE) consultants to perform the system, database and Murex™ administration.

The most challenging aspects of this project were setting up load balancing, failover and disaster recovery synchronization for the Murex™ production environment.

Iridium was tasked with other sensitive projects such as storage allocation and expansion (using IBM SAN technology), system monitoring (using an Iridium proprietary software and methodology), process scheduling and task automation.
