A Japanese bank hired Iridium to assist and support their NYC branch during the global implementation of MX.3. Iridium assigned 2 resources to work with the FO/MO teams in NYC. Our responsibility was to design the front office P&L views, build reconciliation tools to validate Murex™ calculations, troubleshoot and fix P&L and risk discrepancies caused by incorrect configurations.
The most sensitive aspect of the project was the coordination with the head office in Tokyo. After a thorough assessment, Iridium proposed a strategy to improve the implementation process by translating the specific business requirements of NY into pragmatic Murex™ action items.
As a result, Iridium accelerated the UAT phase and improved the overall user experience with MX.3.
Key success factors: Communication, documentation & reconciliation with legacy trading system.
Configuration Tuning
“While we have conducted multiple greenfield implementations, Iridium has also demonstrated the ability to successfully integrate its resources within an ongoing project while providing another level of expertise.”
